Community fundraising

By becoming a Red Cross Community Fundraiser, you have the power to mobilise your community to improve the lives of vulnerable people in Australia and internationally.  You can make a difference to the lives of people in need by running a fundraiser with your: family and friends school, University or TAFE work colleagues sporting or Social club neighbours Community fundraising activities are only as limited as your imagination and are fun and rewarding experiences for all involved.  They can be as simple as a morning tea at work or as complex as a street party – it’s up to you!

Let us know The first step to fundraise for Red Cross is to download our Community Fundraising Kit which includes a Fundraising Activity Registration Form as well as some great ideas and tips for making your fundraiser a success. Once registered with us we’ll send you written confirmation and issue you with an Authority to Fundraise on our behalf. We’ll also be there to help you along your fundraising journey. Online fundraising Raising funds to help people in need couldn’t be easier with our online Community Fundraising website: simply set up your personalised fundraising page – you can specify a fundraising goal, upload an image, and even include a message on why you are supporting Red Cross.  email the link to your fundraising page to your family, friends and colleagues and encourage them to sponsor you each donation is recorded on your page along with any message of support from your sponsors. They will automatically be issued with tax-deductible receipts and the funds transferred to Red Cross. Please note: you don’t need to complete and submit a Fundraising Activity Registration Form if you are solely raising funds via our online facility. Need more information?
